This is a revised version of something I did for The Washington Post last week. It was for a story about how Washington is neutral ground for competing ethnic and national groups. Despite their conflicts, adverse groups must coexist within the same DC communities in a way that is elusive in their home nations. Allison Ghaman was the Art Director.
This is not the version that printed, but I was inspired to tweak the image with some new techniques I’m trying out after it had already gone to print. I was happy with the results so I thought I’d post it here.
