Here are some new personal pieces that I’ve been working on in between illustrations. I’ve been trying to do a lot of them with no digital help, and it’s been a very fulfilling time getting back to my roots.
Illustration for me can sometimes become too much about getting straight to a didactic point, while with these images I’m trying to leave the ideas and concepts more ambiguous and open to interpretation. The visual and text cues hopefully being enough to have the viewer create their own story from their own subjective perceptions. At the very least, I’d love to give you something to ponder.
