Chris Gash – Harvard Business Review

Last month I did a spot illustration for the cover of the Harvard Business Review. They wanted a lion tamer/business man mash-up interacting with the typography on the cover. I love getting to mingle illustrations with text and photos so this was really fun for me. I sent a bunch of variations and here are two that I liked, but that got cut:

And then about a week later they called back for two additional keyframes for the iPad edition (also something I love!):
