Shortly after finishing my Lord of the Rings poster I was invited to participate in a show put on by Spoke Art happening in Oakland California, the theme being the hyper violet films of the 80′s and early 90′s. I chose to do something inspired by the final scene in the 1986 film Aliens. I was around 10 or 11 when I watched it for the first time, and the scene where the cyborg Bishop gets schooled by the queen alien has always stuck with me. For those that aren’t familiar, instead of blood Bishop has a white milky substance.
Below are some detail shots and the poster for the show. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make the opening, but 18×24 prints will be for sale at the gallery for anyone interested. A big thanks to Jon Smith and Spoke Art for inviting me!

The android death always haunted me as well. There is something a little more disturbing about the White blood. Great job Keith! We miss you!
Looking good Keith! Bones, Guts and Glory!
