Here are a few images I got to work on with a great AD over at Seattle Weekly, Jane Sherman.
This first one was about a radio station cutting out all of the fan favorite music that it was known for, a lot of it being what was categorized as “beard rock” (IE Fleet Foxes, the Head and the Heart). The idea is that the station was making it harder for the “little guys” to climb the radio mountain.
The second was another music piece, beautifully written by Chris Kornelis, about what song one would like to hear before they die, which also ties in with his grandfather’s death and the song “I’ll Fly Away”. Read the story here.
Thanks for looking!

Thanks for all the great work, Mike.
Chris, it was a pleasure working on both of these, especially the latter. Such a touching piece! Hope we get to do more in the future!
