Thomas Pitilli – Nashville Scene

Here’s a cover I recently illustrated for Nashville Scene’s special Bonnaroo issue. This was a lot of fun to work on, I was happy I got to draw some famous faces in music, including Thom Yorke, ?uestlove, Alice Cooper, and Feist.  Below is a look at my process, from sketch to final, including some changes along the way. I originally had St. Vincent on the far left, but was asked to change her to Feist. Oh well. Thanks for reading!

  1. This looks great! I love seeing your ink lines without color too. I sometimes feel like I’m the only illustrator who has never drawn Thom Yorke.
