Alex Fine – The Hollywood Reporter

This illustration is for the current issue of The Hollywood Reporter.  It accompanies a piece written by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg about why New York is a great place to film movies.  The idea was to draw the mayor as various famous NY movie characters.  I told the talented AD Shanti Marlar that if she let me draw Bloomberg as Travis Bickle with the iconic mohawk, I could die a happy man.   I really appreciate the volume of fun jobs THR have sent my way this year.  Below are the  sketches I submitted early on for approval.
