Jon Sperry – Recent Work for Portland Mercury

I’ve been working in Adobe Illustrator on some editorial work lately. It depends on the story, but the few I’ve done lately for The Portland Mercury seem to benefit from the clean, flat feel of vector art.

This one was about a movement to kick immigration police (I.C.E.) out of Multnomah county.

This piece was about regulations on police weapons focusing on the use of tasers.

  1. Both of these are really bold and clean. I think these concepts leant themselves well to vector but your inking skills are still great too.
