I have wanted to do something like this for a long time, and I finally made the time to do it.  I wanted to illustrate a month of the year and also pay tribute to one of my illustration heroes J. C. Leyendecker.  His Saturday Evening Post covers were so elegant and iconic, and I wanted to do my own version of one of his pieces adding my own humor and style to it.
